1. LEARN ABOUT YOUR HOME
Every home is different. The Home Energy Assessment provides a comprehensive report outlining opportunities for energy improvements that are specific to your home.
2. HOME SAFETY
Make sure your family is safe. During the assessment, the analyst will complete safety testing to test the air quality of your home. They will test for carbon monoxide and radon (depending on your location).
3. RECEIVE FREE “QUICK FIX” ITEMS
Your analyst may install “quick-fixes” like energy efficient lights, a programmable thermostat, bath or kitchen faucet aerators, low flow showerheads, pipe wrap, or a water heater blanket at no cost to you.
4. QUALIFY FOR REBATES
Many utility or community rebates require an assessment prior to accepting your application for rebate programs.
5. ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Do your part for the environment! Buildings in the United States are responsible for almost 40 percent of U.S. carbon dioxide emissions. Your assessment report will provide information to improve the efficiency of your home, creating a more comfortable, affordable and efficient home.

Alpine Bank Energy Loan Program
Alpine Bank offers loans up to $8,000 unsecured are available (and greater amounts with collateral) for energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements. The loan payments can be structured over a length of time so that the energy savings, and thus utility savings, is greater than the loan payment, so the improvements provide a positive cash flow.

Their Small Business Direct Install (SBDI) Program is designed to help you make your businesses more energy efficient. If you take part in this program, you’ll be eligible for increased incentives not available to non-participants. Here are a few reasons to consider energy-efficient upgrades:
